Premiére of Figures of Speech

Figures of Speech is a 2026 contemporary dance production choreographed by Femke Gyselinck for GRIP, featuring a scenography designed by architect Aslı Çiçek. The piece, created in collaboration with musician Lander Gyselinck, explores the intersection of dance and music, united by the power of rhythm. Featuring seven dancers and four musicians, the performance embraces structured improvisation, mirroring the way rhythm underpins both musical and physical expression.
The world premiere of the creation takes place in Concertgebouw Brugge on 9 April 2026.
