OMA at 50

The Architecture Foundation has launched a new podcast series exploring the enduring influence of OMA (Office for Metropolitan Architecture) on architectural culture. Conceived and produced by Richard Hall, the series marks 50 years since the practice was founded on 1 January 1975.

To celebrate this milestone, Hall recorded a series of conversations throughout January 2025 with leading architects, academics, and OMA enthusiasts. Together, they reflect on the many ways OMA has shaped architectural thinking and practice over the past five decades.

Aslı Çiçek contributed to this initiative by engaging in a conversation with Dr Holger Schurk about the program in OMA's projects. The talk, which is moderated by Richard Hall, is broadcast via this link.

The series is made up of five episodes, each focusing on a theme central to OMA’s work. Together, they build a vivid panorama of the office’s ideas, legacy, and cultural significance. Episodes will be released on a weekly bases through November 2025:
